Question Inake manifold to Throttle Body ???

I have a 80mm BBK throttle body now and I am wondering if it will mate up to an LS6 intake manifold. Also I am getting the race style headers from QTP so I should order the LS-6 without the EGR correct? Any insights on this project will be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

BBK provides a reducer bracket to convert 80 mm TB into 75 mm ls6. If you have EGR hooked up to your intake now, you'll need to remove it (and I would take AIR along with it if you can) before you install a stock ls6 intake. SLP drills a hole into a stock ls6 and plugs it for EGR, but charges an arm and a leg and you don't want that.

Yes, all of them are that way ....except for the special SLP version (and Lingenfelter has one too I think).

Outstanding, that is what I will be needing. Looking to axe the EGR and AIR sys with the header and intake install.

The BBK TB requires a backing/Adapter plate mounted between the TB and Intake. Get the race headers if you have LS1 edit and can delete the Emissions. If not the codes will throw your car into a "Safe Mode" and retard your timming, giving you lower HP.

To get just the spacer without buying the whole kit you will most likely have to call BBK directly to get one.
