What should I gap my TR55's @ for H/C Car?

Question What should I gap my TR55's @ for H/C Car?

I am going to try my TR55 plugs with my new h/c combo,but I am not to sure what to gap them at?I was thinking .045 what do you guys think?

Did a search lots to read,I am gonna go with .045 gap....

I tried .060 and it was running great so I left them at that

I ran mine at .055, awesome with stock internals, but it was breaking up on top end with the H/C. Regapped them to .035 at the track between rounds and went 10.92 I don't recommended gapping them like that.. I did it just to get off a clean pass.

That's when I switched to TR-6's. Car has been 10.92 again and ran more MPH.

John,What gap are you running with TR6's?I have a similar MTI set up

Ok Thanks,I wonder Why MTI told me to run TR6's gapped @ .045 ? I tried em like that and the car isnt nearly as peppie as the tr55's gapped @ .045

That's the normal gap most people here on the board recommend to gap them at for a NA car. I was going to try mine at that gap with my next plug change.

I Hear you ,From what I read not only NA,but the N2O guys aswellI am going to try it,I did try TR5's gapped @ .045 and it seem to feel pretty good.More so than the tr6's gapped @ .045

I would(did) try the TR-55's first. If you have trouble with it breaking up on top end, then switch to TR-6's.
