Flowmaster vs. Magnaflow

Flowmaster vs. Magnaflow I know everybody on here hates Flowmaster. All I want to know is which of these cat-backs is louder on a stock LS1? I plan on running a cut-out as well with the cat-back, but since I will be running the cat-back most of the time I want it to be pretty loud as well.

Flowmaster is louder at idle and cruise (lower to mid rpms), but Magnaflow gets a little louder in the higher rpms at WOT on an otherwise stock LS1 F-body.
I too much prefer the tone of the Flowmaster over the Magnaflow...

I have the flowmaster with SLP LT's and let me tell you...this bad boy is LOUD. I heard the magnaflow, flows better, but I don't think it is that much of a difference (especially if you plan on getting cut-outs of the track).

The performance sucks with flowmaster. It sounds good, in its defense, but doesnt flow for ****. Thats why everyone calls it chokemaster/slowmaster/etc. I would say its a little louder than the Magnaflow, but not much.
