Default 3" Stainless Y pic!

Oh for all you that say why not duals...Twin turbo! the shop hasn't finnished the exhaust, I was thinking of a stainless 3" by 12"long bulletwhit a turndown before the axle or a oval 3" going out the pass. side before the rear tire!

Looks good, but what is it about twin turbos that you'd want to avoid duals? I'd think that you'd want a larger exhaust than 3" if going single with twin turbos...

Turbos work of backpressor and you don't want it too big! 3" is huge compared to the stock Incon exhaust, It was 2" 1/2 but at the turbo the cast downtube was flatend down to about 1" oval! I didn't fab it Livernois did it! I wish I had better pics of the 3"fabed up down tubes.

I don't know how a turbo would take that but damn that's one sweet union of a collector. How easy was that to fab sheit.

I think you have it backwards. Turbos work off of the exhaust pressure, but this piping is AFTER the turbos - you want minimal restriction. Dual 3" would definitely get you some power.

I don't realy know that was what the fab guy was saying! I wish I had a pic of the stock Incon pipes it starts of as a 1" crushed oval then into 2 1/2"!

We are fabing a T-flang on the end of the Y then a stainless 12" long bullet.. So if I every want one bolt and unhook the hanger, and where open!

I will post audio clip of it but it is no loud at all, the only thing you get that is louder is the turbo!

You want smaller piping to the turbo to boost exhaust velocity making the turbo spool up, then large off the exhaust housing to get rid of it quick.

there realy isn't room for a 4" and I don't want duals b/c of clearance! I don't think that that 4"-6" of the Y area will hurt any! Like I said with the crushed 1" oval into a 2 1/2" to a Y into a 3" ATR Y back I had 11lb of boost and 520hp and 592tq on a stock motor!

Another car that has the same turbos and QTP dual cutouts 3" away from the turbos saw very little gain with them less than 10hp!

I can see how a bigger exhaust would help but only to a point!
