Default Need a good sounding muffler

I wanted to get some suggestions from you. I want a muffler thats going to sound good with LT's, ORY, no cats.. I have a slp dual dual right now & its just not loud enough. I dont want loud, loud (I have cut outs for that) But I want something u can hear going down the road. Im kinda leaning towards a hooker muffler they sound good on ls1sounds. But then again everything sounds different on video.. So lets hear em!

Flowmasters sound good, just dont flow that well but thats what you have a cut out for. Magnaflow is also a good muffler. I had a ravin muffler on my car before and I loved that muffler to. www.ravin.us They are like a better flowmaster.

Spin Techs are a good flowing muffler, 2nd to bullets. I prefer the sound that is much deeper with the flow pro twisters (spintechs). I got mine from lanes in irving tx

I like my Hooker Aero Chamber muffler. I could deffinately tell a difference from the stocker. I have never had anyone else drive my car to see what it sounds like from behind, but I really like the sound. I got on it next to a buddy and he said he missed his shift cause he could not hear his engine when I was next to him. I do not know if it is as loud though as you want. I think the 80 series flowmasters are louder than the Hooker? But I am happy with my purchase.

I really like the Hooker Catback, or the Mufflex flowmaster catback with delta force flowmaster. Don't let people confuse you about the flowmasters, they say they don't flow, but I think they are refering to the 80 Series crossflow with the FM Kit, the Delta Force muffler flows great! as do the 10 series on my car. My wife has the Hooker Cat back and It sounds awesome.

I've had the 80 series flowmaster, and now the Hooker catback. The flow had rasp issues that really pissed me off. The Hooker sounds sweet, and I don't think I'd want my car to be any louder than it is, it SCREAMS at WOT. You won't be sorry if you get this exhaust.

Im please with the Hooker setup with my LT & ORY. I had to purchase it from Summit, do to everyone was on back order. Just dont let the tip stick out too far, I hate that! I cut the pipe going to tip's alittle so there flush with the bumper, looks good & I get alot of compliments...

I had the stock Z28 setup. Went with a Magnaflow and man it is nice. Hardly hear it at 70 mph, no drone but at WOT and high RPMs, it sounds great. Very tame at low RPM and not obnoxious at WOT but people will know you are driving a car with guts.

The splitcase Spintech flows horribly. Slap on a Hooker Aerochamber muffler.

True Duals Or Gmmg Sound The Best To Me. I Have Heard A Lot Of Complaints About Flowmaster And They Dont Sound The Best Ethier. On My Previous Ss I Had Edel Headers No Muffler Just 4 Inch Pipe All The Way Back To A Single Pipe And A 3 Inch Tip It Sounded Like A Complete Angry Beast. (my Current Ss Has Slp Loud Mouth)
