Default Best Plugs and wires

What would be the best plugs and wires to get for a 2000 SS with 52000 miles on it? Only part stores around here are Oreilly and Autozone, will they have them there or will I have to order off internet? Thanks, Corey.

NGK makes really good plugs. I have had good luck with MSD wire, but I have also heard good things about taylor.

You will probably be able to get the NGK's and the Wires, but they will be cheaper at an online site, specifically our sponsers

NGK TR55 will probably be best for your application. As far as wires, I'd reccomend the Taylors, but your stock ones are fine.

For wires, go with Magnecors'. http://www.magnecor.com/magnecor1/main.htm
You have several varieties to chose from:
#87229 for the 7mm wire
#80229 for the 8mm wire
#85229 for the 8.5mm wire the KV85

You'll need the #87229

For plugs I use the Bosch Platinum +4's,and I really like them.
Get your plugs here:

I agree with stock wires nice and new, but i also say stock plugs, nice and new, the ngk's will need more matinence, if you went this long on stockers, id put new stockers back in. plan on a set of ngk's every 10-15k miles jmo

See sig. OEM wires would probably do just as well for my application.
