Mac's ~20rwhp gain
Pacesetters ~25 rwhp gain

Definite pros of Mac's - no clearance issues when you decide to lower your car.

Your comparing long tubes to mids. Go with the LT's. I have the Pacesetters as well, no complaints. Their ORP even fit.

i'd go with the pacesetters, i love mine, i had to grind to k-memember which was a peice of cake but i guess that would be a con, however a pro would be more more. however DONT buy there y pipe, make your own, or have a good exuast shop weld you one up, you WONT be sorry for that choice!

I say go with pacesetters, especially if you ever plan on doing a H/C.

Macs are a great header and show good gains no doubt, but even getting them that cheap you still have to get a Y pipe and there is the likelihood that the coating (not that great a coating even when new unless they were Jet Hotted maybe) on the headers will be a bit beat up (some rust) as well.
The Pacesetters will be brand new and coated as well and should make more power overall.

Deffinitly go with the LT's. One of the best boltons you could do to an ls1. Especially if you get any other mods done to the motor (heads, cam).

pacesetters are a peice of cake i just installed mine. all i had to do was grind the k member and a tab of the block to slip them in. didnt even have to unbolt the steering shaft! id definately tell u to get them and if your looking for great performance get a x pipe. i got the 3 inch rumbler x from tsp it is truely amazing how awesome it sounds its basically open all the way through since it has 18inch bullets..my setup id say is one of the top flowing and sounding ive heard out of an ls1.. but i think i might be a little biased hehe

i personally am going with the edlebrock victor series long tube. they are easy to put in, are race headers, and are stepped 1 3/4 to 1 7/8...if you plan on getting big heads/cam, go with stepped...they are 380 for the headers and 105 for the ory
