Works just fine...wired up without any problems. No dyno #s yet. Next week...we may be able to get some #s with the LS2/FAST intake VS the LS6 with the stock TB on the new Rev Extreme 408. This build up used the LS2 water pump as well.

They need to make a throttle cable adapter for it... looks pretty bad ***.

They are looking into that...but the initial cost of the LS2 plus labor to adapt it will put it in range of the FAST 90 mm. May not be cost effective for the Fbody guys.

Rev Extreme will also be offering Corvette conversions with either the FAST intake or the LS2 intake with the LS2 TB from what I hear.

After a close up look at the LS2 TB...its a VERY nice piece.

After looking at it in person, it's a very impressive setup. The car sounds great, looking forward to the dyno session.

Thanks for the pics! I am pleasently surprised at the high quality look of the throttle body, especially on the outside.

Yes...it is a very high quality piece. Beefy too...possibly with a little room for improvement. The TB blade is about 1/16 of an inch thick. A nice knife edge may help...along with some obvious neckdowns. Im sure another 50 cfm will be no problem.

Its a nice piece, but how does a fly by wire tb feel under acceleration as opposed to a cable driven tb??

My Sierra 6.0 Denali is fly by wire. It feels fine. All vettes are fly by wire...they feel fine. The LS2 TB wont change any of that...the "feel" is artificial in the pedal.

If you don't mind me asking, what all did it take to change the harness to fit the LS2 tb. With everything thats going on we have not been able to do the research needed to do this conversion. We are getting ready to do this swap on a C5 thats in our shop, anything you can let me in on would help. Thanks in advance!!

I'll have to get with Ryan (our head mod tech) , and see what he's done with the pin-outs. Then it's a matter of fabrication time, and a few yards of wire, some solder, and a lot of patience.

I think I have all the pieces: LS2 intake,TB and rails.

The stock TB has a port for a line that runs to the right valve cover. Did you just leave that open or is that what I see with the filter on it?

I assume the PCV goes into the manifold as before.

Thanks for your help.

Man wonder how I would get the the two sensor on the tb to work if I tried to convert this to a fly by cable. I got the how to adapt it and make it run by cable just cant imagine how to get the two sensors on the side to work. The top sensor should be easy but how does the other sensor work?

I would PM Dino or contact www.revXtreme.com for more info. They aren't on the boards that much.
