(ported T/B, and LS6 intake that is)
the LS6 intake will probaby gain a little more with a stock T/B, than a ported T/B with a stock intake.
the T/B is pretty easy to port if you want to do that.

the new ported T/B will gain about 5-10 hp. over the stock one with that LS6 intake.

i say do it, i think you will see some gains from it, will better compliment the ls6 intake.
the 04 gto T/B should be the same as the one on your car now, but ported.
