Anybody using this? While the throttle bodies from Shaner or Jantzer sound really good, they both require cores that I don't have. I do not want to touch my stock TB on my GTO, I want to leave it completely stock. This one from SLP doesn't sound to bad, no core charge either.
Price: $169.95
Here is the LINK
"SLP Throttle Body, 1998-02 Camaro/Firebird, 2004 GTO ''Ported/Polished''
These LS1 throttle bodies are precision CNC ported for maximum flow (56 cfm more than stock!) and feature a modified blade for reduced inlet-path restriction at WOT. Polished to a show-quality finish and engraved with the SLP logo, they make an ideal finishing touch for any stock or modified LS1 engine.
Please note that these are brand-new units that were removed from zero-mileage LS1 intake assemblies. Even better, no core charge is required!
NOTE: Fits LS1 F-Body and GTO only. Includes shown sensors."

I can set you up for just a little more money.
$100 stock appearing
$130 powder coated
$175 show polished
+ $100 for the core
I truly port the inside to 75mm, modifiy the inlet and blade, shorten the screws, bump stop mod, and add visual touches that others don't. You get what you pay for.

I try not to give out details as to the product we use. I can't recall off hand if you're a customer or not. If you were a customer that needed to fix some epoxy that would be one thing. I've used a dozen or so epoxies to find this one that works best.

I'm jumping into this thread a little late, but I was thinking about upgrading my throttle body. I just don't know what the best course of action is. Should I buy a throttle body from SLP or should I go with a CNC'd one? Which option would yield the greatest results? Also, is there anyone who can port and polish them for a fair price?
