98-03 TB's same?
Would have to either raplce the throttle shaft and/or cam, or move the mouting location of the throttle cable to where that it will work.
I did the later, but it was to put a newer TB on my 98'

Like Mooobunny said, you are going to have to take the throttle cam from your current throttle body and use it in the new one. 98-99 and 00+ are incompatible. They have differently shaped throttle cams and it results in different length throttle cables. The earlier models cable won't reach the end of the latter's throttle cam.
How do you remove the throttle cam? I couldn't figure it out. I had the spring released, the throttle postion sensor off and the blade out. I couldn't pull out the throttle cam. I didn't want to break it so I didn't pull too hard. Is there something else I have to do to get it out or does it just pull out really hard?

Seriously though, you'll have to tap the shaft out with a hammer from the TPS sensor side. There's an interference type of fit washer holding the shaft in place. A few semi-hard taps with a hammer will get it out. There's no other way to do it w/o a shop press. Don't worry about damaging anything as it'd be tough to do so. Unless of corse you left the TPS in place...

There are two different companies casting the bodies, AC Delco and another company that I havent found out yet. Two different TB blade #s-70125 and 79651 that came in all years. 3 different cams- two have the same #-24944 for the 98-99 model year- one thin and one thick, and the 00 and up is 18664.
