Rear exit duals?
Under the axle works pretty good for me being stock height, I'll just have to figure out how to post some pictures after I go shopping with the wife tonight. Since I didn't seem to lose much hp, I'm alittle puzzled I guess.

is it cheaper than going over the axle, and if so, by how much?
i cant picture how it would even work, and where it would hang and everything hmmm...
Hope this works, this is the first time I've posted pictures.
BTW, last night at Tues test and tune I did some nose diving braking at the track to make the 1st return road which of course makes the backend rise up alot and had no trouble with the exhaust hitting.
I always use drive on lifts, but if the car is raised on a chasis lift I would probobly remove the tips anyway although I haven't checked the clearance yet on fully extended rear suspension.

In my case I spent more money because I got the stainless steel Magnaflow mufflers and stainless tips with 6 flanges altogether.($400+) If I could do it all over again I'd not do the mufflers. It's too quiet now for me. Of course, in 10 minutes it can be loud again with the dumps.
If you just get pipes bent with flanges and get your own tips for them to weld it should be under $200 depends on the shop. The shop I use here now is alittle pricey but the best quality and welds around. Believe me, I've had cheaper setups at other shops and the welds look it.
The car even with the quieter Magnaflows still has the notorious sound of true duals and no rasp.

Thanks in advance, if you don't, it's not a big deal man, I just think it would help the exhaust guy.
I hate, HATE, loud exhaust, so I won't need all those flanges, but I definitely like the idea of the out-the-back dual's. Do you, or does anybody, have a sound clip of an exhaust like this? I've looked on LS1Sounds, but I don't see any that say the mufflers are behind the axle too...
Thanks in advance, that's a killer setup!
