new after 4 years, although the car is never driven in rain, or snow and only used during the summer months on weekends. If I was to buy LT's again though, I would go with Kook's since they seem to produce more power.

I have kooks now but only for about 7 months and they still look brand new (well they are).
I sold the TTS ones to a friend and he had them recoated by a recommended company and they are fine now.

I design aftertreatment systems (read calatytic converters) and mufflers for diesel engines and we use nothing BUT 304L. Some of our products are in mines under very humid/moist conditions. Even after several years our customers will ship them back to be rebuilt or cleaned and they look almost as good as when they left the production floor other than soot from the mines. Hell two units were sent back that were put out to sea in some sort of yacht and after a year and a half they still looked really good.
Make sure they're made of 304L, very typical stainless for automotive apps.

My SLP LT's look brand new (after 3+ years) as well. Still bright and silver. If I could do it all over again though, I'd go with Stainless Works.
Or you could run a torch over them and get them blue, that's looks the best to me.
