Default Side exhaust

I have seen the side exhaust done before. I was wondering if any of you had it done? If so, could you explain to me how you did it, and what your setup is? ANy pictures would be great. I have been thinking about it for my 99 TA WS6.

I have an x-pipe with side exits. Ground clearance is preyy bad unless I am running the slicks. I would like to do the nascar style passenger side pipe with the turbo in the future. Here are some pics.

damn, you got me thinking of running side exits now, I think an X pipe setup with oval pipes exiting out the side, angle cut, would look awesome, I wonder if you can smash all that exhaust before the rear tire????

I don't see that working. There is really no space for a real muffler. I run bullits and they have dragged so many times that they are flat on the bottom. That is with higher than stock ride height. Oval tube can't really be bent well and is more restrictive than round. Dual 2.5" run together after the x over the axle is the best functional exhaust. My side pipes are real loud, and you would have a hard time with the cops if you drove it around all the time.

Run dual round 2.5" from the x-pipe. Then fab some square box type outlets about 1" thick and maybe 4" wide that turn out towards the rockers. You'll still have ground clearance problems here and there. But it will be loud and obnoxious if that's what you're looking for.

Heres a few of mine. Its lowered 2 inches, and the pipes are 3" all the way, with an x-pipe. I tried to keep it tucked under the body, so they might be hard to see, but thats how I wanted it. Pipes showing on the side, dont look good, IMO.
