Exclamation Overheating problem! Need help asap!

Ok ever since I got my procharger put on with my fmic my car just randomly gets hot as hell and then it goes away. I checked coolant, use purple ice, have a new ati fan, and I just put my thermostat in boiling water and it opened up. It's only been in the 40's too. What's going on and what should I do?

You should read the temp with a scaner ro use a temp gun to verify the temp on the gauge it might be a bad gauge.

I have seen intermittent ECT sensor connection (at the sender)
make for some insane PCM spark and fuel behavior. Might want
to clean, see if you can tighten up the spring-clip.

Where exactly are those things at? To check the guage do I have to pull the part behind the steering wheel out?

I dont think your gauge is broken what I am trying to say is to confirm the reading on it to berify that it is overheating

I'd take the fmic off to see if the problem goes away.
