I have some hooker super comps on My Monte that flaked. They don't stay forever. You can try polishing the rust off and clean them occasionally. That may help.

yup they are also stainless steel, but looks like they are rusting, . they still look brand new from the top. off the engine.

I contacted SLP. waiting on an answer.

I have the SLPs mine is doing the same, the driver side one but the pass side is fine. I could give a crap anymore its only headers, if I could do it over again Id buy Pacesetters black and thats it. Ceramic coating is a big hype in my opinion. But yes mine is flaking, it doesnt really matter that much because the stainless steel will never rust. I think it is flaking because of a speed bump or median that hit the bottom of the collector, it may have started the flaking of the coating. It was fine in the summer and fall but soon as winter came around I think the salt just ate it up. I will eventually go out and take a fine wire brush and some cleaning tools and agents and just brush off what I can and wash it. Good Luck

From what I remember, SLP headers have a lifetime warranty. I guess the big question is: what are the terms of the warranty? Do the headers have to have through holes in them to qualify for the warranty or is the failure of the ceramic coating sufficient? I guess it's something you can discuss with SLP when they contact you.
