Default exhaust manifold bolts torque-to-yield?

title says it all, are the gm exhaust manifold bolts torque to yield?
I thought I read something about this but cant seem to find it anywhere.
If they arent, are the bottom of the bolts supposed to look like they're missing about 3-4 threads?

I have reused them a number of times. I have never heard or read that they are TTY.

Yielding a steel bolt when threading it into aluminum heads? I really doubt they are TTY.

They're not TTY, and they only take about 18 ft*lbs if memory serves.

They are NOT torque to yield bolts! Don't even try this, you will tear the threads right out of your heads (steel = higher tensile strength than aluminum). The torque spec for them is 18 ft-lbs, as mentioned above.

Good Lord, no they are NOT torque to yield! As mentioned above the torque is 18ft/lbs (It's actually 15-18ft/lbs). You will DEFINETLY jack up the thread pattern in the head by doing much more torque than this.
