I think they run about the same as all the others. I ran them for a long time. After hearing everyone bitch about them I switched the "god" of spark plugs.....tr55's. I didn't notice any difference...power, mpg,...
They (tr55's) are cheaper than the Bosch +4's but you gotta change em more often.

"The GOD of spark plugs", thats funnay as hell. I replaced mine about 10k or so ago because my car still had the original AC's in there from the previous owner. The +4 plugs made a BIG difference. I have been told by others on here that they are no good at WOT, but when I had my car dynoed, if you look at my air/fuel on my sheet, it showed to be a perfect line, straight as an arrow across the board everytime. I personally am not sure about why platinum is no good, but it seems to be more of a preference for people. I know a guy that works at autozone and he said it was all preference as well. My car runs strong though, maybe when I get my headers put on in the next couple of months I will try the NGK's, until then, Im staying with the Bosch.

It's not the platinum that is the problem, it's just the Bosch plugs. They have never ran good in anything I have owned. The cars I've used them in always seem to run "rougher", and don't accelarate as smooth as the AC's or the NGK's. If you want an awesome plug, get the NGK TR55ix's. They are the iridium version of the TR55 and will last a loooooooong time.

GMHTP recently did a test at QTP using fresh "TR55's" and fresh "Brisk premium LGS" spark plugs. It has a silver ground electrode and eliminates indexing. Back to back dyno test, the brisk made 3.3 more rwhp and 0.4 more rwtq. I don't no how much is just dyno fluctuating, but take it as it is I guess..

I ran alot better on TR55's than on boush plus4's when I switched them few years ago when I use to own my LT1. Since then been using TR55's with no problems on my LS1!
