Default Throttle Body by-pass worth it?

I was considering this mod and heard on a couple websites its good for .1-.2 gain in the 1/4! I did this mod in my previous car (LT1 Z28) and didnt notice too much, just wondering what you guys thought. I know every little bit counts..... right!

yep its definitly one of those every little bit counts mods. I did not feel any difference at all, it was just really cheap to do, so I did it.

Can't hurt, cheap, easier to remove throttle body in the future, and every little bit helps. Go for it man.

Every little bit helps. You won't be getting 0.1-0.2, maybe 0.01.

Worry more about FRA and porting the TB when it comes to free mods.

I have also done this mod and could not feel a seat of the pants difference. But at least I know that the air going into the TB is cooler.

I think the main benifit is being able take the TB off easily.

It gets cold here in the winter, I left it hooked up.
The throttle blade can freeze up if the ambient temperature is cold enough.

Well, when I did this to my old car, I had it sit outside in the winter a few nights (forgot to put it in the garage) and weather being 0 degrees or so (Nebraska) the car refused to start, but with just a touch of the gas, started right up!

Much easier to take the TB on and off now, that's a good enough reason to do it in my opinion.
