ORY to accompany my QTP headers? Ill be ordering my qtp headers and elec. cut out monday, now I need an ORY no cats.
I plan on doing a 2 inch drop with dms springs eventually. So ground clearance is important. And, I live on the water, so I'd prefer stainless.
I was going to get the kooks ory, but I'd have to get it coated, and I hear that may not hold up very well. This my daily driver, i live on the water, and have no garage
. So whatever I get needs to be SS id imagine. Any input? Suggestions for a brand that will pair up wit the qtp headers and loudmouth?

I hear Kooks mates up fine. The only reason I might avoid the qtp Y is because I hear there are fitment and clearance issues with them, although I know its got a great merge collector and is designed very well, I dont want to scrape the **** out of something that expensive. So I'm doin some looking.

get the mufflex ORY, its the SAME EXACT Y for cheaper...trust me...P.M. if you have any questions, ill let you know more about it..
when you call them and talk to them about the Y make sure you tell them your putting it with a QTP setup so they add the "QTP fitment pipe"

I purchased the QTP's with the HVMC option AND the dual cutout y-pipe. IMO you shouldn't ever buy a pre-made y-pipe from anybody since the fit will NOT be ideal. The only way to maximize the ground clearance IMO is to go to a good exhaust shop and have one custom made to YOUR car. I basically wasted my $$ buying mine since it had to be completely re-done to maximize ground clearance on my slammed car.

Thanks Racehead, thats why I asked, because I heard of alot of clearance issues on slammed rides. I appreciate it, I gotta do a little hunting to find a good exhaust shop in the area. About how much u pay on your custom ory?
