In a fix with QTP y-pipe!!!
The driver side cat is getting beat to hell from me living on an incline and the shitty streets here, i've already had it adjusted and moved up but it still drags sometimes and sometimes it's pretty bad!! I need some suggestions on what i can do.....if i need to find a brand of cat that is smaller or if i should consider a 2.5 dual system? Will a smaller diameter dual system flow better than a 3 inch y system cuz i think it would? I have to go over the axle though due to my CME, so anything bigger than 2.5 is out of the question.....Also i would gain considerable ground clearance with duals especially if i didn't run cats......i know everyone says cats are useless on duals, but is it possible to pass emissions with duals? Any input would help greatly.

I dont bother with cats, there too expensive for me to just put em on the car, drag em everywhere, and then eventually burn em up. So I say get rid of em, just find a friendly inspection station.

Are you lowered??. How much clearance do you have now??
I tweaked mine three times before I got it right. I don't scrape at all anymore.
I got my cat within 1/2" of that brace and added an anti bang type hanger on the left pipe.
I also added a hanger on the right side.

I had similar issues, so I had the QTP pipe cut up and a new one made, then replaced the cats with bullet Random 70300 that go right onto the collector. Then I even added dual cutouts behind them.. It is still a little low but the cats are well protected.
I'll see if I can put up some pics later.
