ASP pulley question

Default ASP pulley question
Before my pulley I dynoed 346HP 360TQ,and now it dynos 376HP 383TQ.I guess my question is has anybody seen a gain like this.The only other mods i have is a SLP lid and a set of jet hot lt's.

dyno foul up, difference dyno, difference conditions, pulley increase not likey to show on dyno ( the increse will be about the same as 10 hp increse)I may be wrong,I do not think any possible way a pulley is going to show 30 hp gain on dyno

IF those numbers are correct I'd say you are close to a dyno record 376/383 with just a pulley, lid, and exhuast is amazing.

What year is your car? And Manual or Auto. Alot of people don't get those high numbers with a cam, let alone minor bolt-ons, if that number is the truth, congrats.

But I would say it was a dyno goof. 346/360 are still VERY good numbers for you mods.

My last dyno was a month before this last dyno with the pulley.It was also the same place(dynospeed),and it was only 3 degree differance in tempature.With just a lid it did 310 hp and 323 tq going thru a flowmaster.I took the cut out off and it went to 320 hp and 330 tq. then i did a clutch (centerforce dual friction),and I also did a SPEC 13 pd. flywheel.After that I did gears.About a month and a half ago i did jet hot long tube headers with dual 3 inch exhuast with x-pipe,and bullets.It dynoed 346 hp and 360 tq after the headers,and my air/fuel was PERFECT.The only think i changed was the crank pulley and the alternator pulley,and took it to the dyno a week later.It did 376 hp and 383 tq.This time with the pulley it was also half a point lean on the air/fuel.so running a little lean might have helped,but those are the only mods i have.My car is a factory freak i guess.I still have the stock intake(1998).I'm glad it's doing this kind of numbers,but i'm also confused.

your car isnt a factory freak, the dyno is incorrect, not calibrated, or the correct factors are all wacked out

If those numbers are right, I must go to the track and get my 11 sec. slip cause I added that pulley. I was going to add SLP Headers cause they add 40+ Hp but I decided against it become I only wanted 25 Hp. J/K

the dyno(DYNOSPEED) isn't that old and it backed it up three times

you might have pulled low that first day for some reason? did you have any knock retard the first time round?

NOBODY has ever gained that much from pulleys, nor will they.
the dyno was off.

it is a dynojet and i believe that some off the mercury readings are off.

The Dyno correction factors were off... Ask the people that dynoed earlier from the WTFBA dyno day...
