GMMG or TD's
So I'm thinking about the tsp duals w/ sweet thunders dumped before the axle. I have heard a lot of great things about this setup, but never heard it in person. I figure its loud, but I like a nice tone, not just a lot of rasp and loud exhaust.(thats what the dual cutouts will be for
) Do you think I would gain power going to the duals and dumping the cats? Which do you think would sound better? Tried ls1sounds but that doesn't help me much. Thanks for the help. Sorry for the long thread, but it might take a lot of convincing before I sell a catback I paid 700 dollars for!
If you really like the sound of your current exhaust set-up a lot (I run the same exact one BTW; except I have Kooks instead of Jet Hot's), then just leave it as is. I only see the cats starting to become a little of a restriction when you do a H/C set-up. Now, if you want a completely different sound, then ditch your GMMG/Y-pipe set-up for true duals...You'd definitely gain a little under the curve this way, but there wouldn't be much (if any) difference peak on your car the way it stands now...

Also, how much ground clearance would I be sacrificing? W/ the tsp setup?
