vette o2 sensors on fbod?
I've been told they are heate/burn hotter/whatever.
With Long tubes the O2s are further away from the exhaust port, and the gases cool down more before reaching the O2. sometimes they don't read aswell or last as long. The vette ones are placed further down than the fbody, and will read better than the factory 02 that is not as hot.
Mine still has factory ones, can't justify spending 150 on o2s that are working properly for myself...
They fixed my car, but I do not have a lot of miles on them yet. I have noticed that if I drive under 1500RPM they will throw a code. So I keep the RPM there or above to keep the heat up in the exhaust.
Bosche 13111's (vette rear o2's) have a higher wattage heater in them. Helps to make up for cooler exhaust gases caused by headers.
