Default Guys w/ optima red top, help please

Which red top are you guys runnin? 75/35 or 34/78? When I searched, all I found out was that people had fitment issues w/ both Thanks!

I dont know which model I have but the one I got from AutoZone fits perfect.
Wasnt aware there was more than one option when I purchased it.

Mine fits fine also. I got it at Murrays... No idea on the model either. You don't need any adapters or anything.

Same here, don't know the model, but got it at Advance-fits perfect and I used the factory hold downs, no adapters.

ok, thanks alot guys! It must be the 75/35 then. Thats the direct replacement for our cars, but some here on the board said that didnt fit right, so they got the 34/78, and used an adapter.

Hmmm, I had the one from Autozone in my car and it was pressed up against the metal lines coming off the radiator. I was worried about it rubbing a hole in that line, and turns out it eventually kind of rubbed some of the battery's plastic cover off. Maybe I had the wrong one.

I guess I got the right one from Autozone. Fits perfect and comes with the hold-down clamp.

Just looked at my RedTop. Model 75/35. Fits perfect using stock battery hold-down clamp.

You have to get the smaller of the 2 red tops. The bigger one wont fit but the smaller of the 2 fits like a glove.
