Default Air EGR

if i remove my air pump and egr will my carrun roughly or will it be ok i plan on haveing it dyno tuned after a few more mods but i was just curious if it would run ok till then?

Your car will not run bad. You will have to get the AIR/EGR codes deleted, or you will throw the SES light. Also, you have to get some block off plates for your headers/manifolds.

Car will throw codes but no other effects. Performance will not be harmed. Hell if you remove all of the EGR/AIR you will get some weight reduction

thanks im installing my headers and i was thinking about removing EGR/AIR and wanted to make sure that it would be ok until i get it tuned thanks for the help

your car will run the same..... maybe faster once you throw out those 10-15lbs. !

i removed mine 15 months ago. just threw a code. i use my hand held programer the check my ses every now and then to make sure that is all it is.

Shouldn't backfire. Took mine off mainly for aesthetic reasons. Other than that it just throws a SES light.
