Default Putting a carb on an ls1?

Hey guys,
My father just purchased a 34 Ford 3 Window Coupe. It has a 302 Ford out of an 87 Mustang, were not into Ford motors at all. We were thinking about putting in an LS1 but we want a carbureted motor and I thought about it and I thought I saw a company that makes a kit to switch it over to a carburetor setup. Does anyone know what company does?
And it's an automatic, but we couldn't run a 4L80E or whatever the auto tranny is because it's computer controlled could we just bolt up a t350?

GM Performance do a conversion kit.

And on a stock LS1 it made almost the same bhp as EFI and a little more low end lb ft. With a GM hot cam, electric water pump and lt's it made about 500bhp on an engine dyno. So it's definatley capable. Hot Rod magazine did a test on it a while back, the article was on their website.

As for the box, well any electronic controlled autobox will require some form of ECU/PCM but there is no reason you couldn't fab something up.

Yes, you can use a 4L80E with an LS1 motor.

I know this but would it be easier to run a turbo 350 then to wire up this tranny?

Nice choice !

I have a 34 3 Window with LS1 with a GMPP manifold and 1000cfm 4 Barrel throttle body on stock PCM.

It retains almost all of the factory advantages but has the old school look (almost) of a carby SBC.

This is the car

Hope this helps.
