HELP! headers, xpipe on, poping sound

HELP! headers, xpipe on, poping sound put my hearders, and xpipe on, its flowtechs universal, 3inchs all the way through with 2 dynmax bullit mufflers, and well it started up, idles fine, and well i start driving it, and idk when i was pulling out of the shop, it was kinda like popping, and when i get on it, it ran fan but came to a red light, and it was popping like a couple of times in row, then would be fine, then would hear a pop here and there, then be fine for ahwile, soo i get on it, its fine, next red light, nothing, then next red light, some popping, not loud, but idk its weird, is this to much exhuast? or does the computer have to re learn itself?
Sounds like an exhaust leak. Did you weld or clamp this stuff on? Are you getting the SES light flashing? That would indicate missfires. More info on the install. Do you have a code scanner? If not what about a close autozone? More info. Be honest. It can be fixed-just need to know what happened.
should not be popping. Im not sure what kind of popping it is but check that your o2 sensor wires are not touching the headers. I have seen this alot. It will short and cause a rough running car. If you have flowtech headers check for exhaust leaks at the flanges. They are pretty thin flanges and dont seal very well.

thanks guys, heres the install, pacesetter headers, used stock gaskets, then clamped on the xpipe onto the headers, after that alll of it was welded together up to the bullit mufflers, then all of that was clamped, when it was in the air on the rack, me and my bro check for exhaust leaks, didnt feel or hear any under the car. the o2 wires were held away from the headers when we re-installed them, he does have 2 scan tools, sooo today when the new exhaust goes back on, this one sits way way to low, its a universal kit from summit, i hope there will be no more popping, and i will check it wiht his scan tool

Popping is natural on deceleration. It was doing it stock too, you just couldn't hear it as well. I think some of you guys freak out over sounds. When you start changing the stock intake and exhaust setup you are certainly going to change the sounds and vibrations of the car. If your car has been checked for leaks and it only pops on deceleration, I would bet you are fine.

Mine does this too in between shifts and while deacccelaration. I do have have a leak at the headers and heads. However, I was told that the popping would happen simply because there is less back pressure from the exhaust now that you have swapped out the headers and y-pipe.

no no no. listen and read my post, this is while idleing stopped at a red light, just sitting there, yes i konw it pops when its stock, i heard it, and yes i think it might just be tooo much exhaust for my car.
