New long tube headers for the LSx??

New long tube headers for the LSx?? I didn't know Edelbrock made long tubes for hte LS1... anyone try these out?

These new drag race headers have innovative features to maximize power potential in competition. They are engineered with the correct firing order pulse sequence in the collector, unlike most competitors' headers. The 3/8" thick laser-cut flanges are robotically welded and contoured for a perfect fit. New fully welded headers include O2 sensor bosses and collectors for a no-leak installation right out of the box. Headers with slip-on merge collector feature an expansion cone on the exit of the collector. The slip-on design allows for tuning the primary tube lengths to individual engine requirements. Collector retainer brackets and scavenge tubes can be welded on after header tuning has been completed. 1-3/4", stepped to 1-7/8", 3-1/2" collector, mild steel
Seem nice and I like the way they step up in size.. Anyone try these yet?

I heard that they will soon be marketing the headers as a finished product, with the O2 sensor bungs installed, and the collectors welded on. I haven't heard a price as yet, but I know that the PRI shows are coming up, so I hope to pick up a set then.

First I had heard of them.. and I don't ever recall seeing anyone talk about them on here.. I got a tech letter about them and I was like WTF..

There is a guy on here that hd them. The coating flaked off in a couple of weeks. And there collectors is a far cry from the high end merge collectors you see.

I just bought a set of the fully welded version. I am sure that they will be a fine header.

Ain't it great? 5 years ago the choices were limited, now even EDELBROCK makes headers, and everyone and his bro.

I am not sure if they come coated yet. A few buy them and then send them to jet hot for coating. I heard that installation was like the new pacesetter style headers. So, pretty darn good.
I just bought a set from sdpc and had them coated locally after the collectors had been tigged on.Nice headers for the bucks and should tuck to the car a little better
than the slp's they are replaceing.I hope I pick up some power also,but I won't be
able to document that as I'm changing some other components at the same time. The
ypipe looks good also and was very resonable on price .
