Thumbs down Jet-Hot Cats

So decided to pull out my newly installed Jet-Hot Cats. To make sure they don't screw with the AFR on the dyno.

Opps, time to find another Y-Pipe with better cats. Cause it sounds like crap without them.

thats freaking awesome. I have the magnaflow cats after my headers and have not had a problem with them. They look the same as the stock cats inside. I'm nt too sure how they would hold up since you are FI that might croak them too.... maybe randomtech cats?

Those are the second set I blew through. So I guess FI is just too much for them.

You could try Dynatech cats. They aren't contructed like that. You might melt them (goes for any cat), but you won't blow through them.

Damn jet hot cats. I'm afraid if I pull mine they will look like that too.

I was thinking about getting the full catted Y from TSP, it's like 350 bucks

You're not running rich enough to melt them out are you? Just ditch 'em and get a bullet muffler in the Y.

Naa, they just suck. I prefer to replace them with cats. I hate that smell.

Try to find some Bassani cats. I bought some off a mustang guy who didnt want them and put some on my Z71. They look like they would hold up much better then the Jet hots in your picture.
