BULLETS after headers????
i currently run FLP headers, cut-out, and stock cat back......
i was thinking of just bolting a pair of bullets to the collectors....
figured id save about 50-70 pounds and maybe gain a few rwhp?
so which muffler would gain the most HP and be the quietest?
and ideas?
(X pipe) prob wouldnt lose much if any power of straight headers
as for the torque well we have +5000 stalls so the torque is not a problem.
I ordered TSP's True Dual kit. Picked up loads of torque and the car sounds much, much better.
The dyno graph in my signature is with the bullets slid onto the headers. I dont recommend this combo.

i would like a more muffled deeper tone.....
sounds like TSP kit with which mufflers?
everyone who says a set up like mine is too loud must have a heavy foot cause i daily drive my car 90+ miles a day and don't even get looked at by cops. Ofcourse i don't ever get on it on the street but with a 5100 stall its loud leaving a stop light but i leave next to cops all the time and have never had an issue.
I love my exhaust its a DEEP muscle car sound to it. and it will only get better once i throw a HUGE cam in it.
It makes peple look when your at idle, and stare when your on the loud peddle.... The quietest bullet muffler that you'll probrably find is the Pro Flo Twister, they are pretty quiet in the lower rpm range but have a raw open cutout sound when you get on it. If I where you I would do a nice 3" H-pipe set up dumped before the axle, will sound good, be light, and you'll have a better torque arm selection with the H pipe.
