BEst exhaust setup for 01 ss

What is the best sounding setup thats not chambered and not raspy

Duals with o/r x-pipe and bullets. This setup has a nice deep sound, produces great power, and doesn't have alot of rasp.

but the texas speed 3" duals. their made for f bodys and easy to install. they come with a X-pipe too.

There is no best sound. Sound is subjective. Have you read the stickies yet? I suggest you do so...

Why not chambered? The best sounding with no chambers and, of course, no rasp is going to be duals with an X or H pipe.

True duals with a "H" pipe with both pipes going over the axle, exiting out the rear from beneath the bumper in the stock location. Great sound, great power increase and NO rasp.

Yes, but it will still not be much more expensive than a single exhaust system with new mufflers, pipes, and of-course one of those STUPID Y pipes. Do away with that STUPID Y pipe and go with a true dual exhaust system. You will be better satisfied with the duals than you will ever be with one of those stupid Y pipe systems. The sound will be better, the power will be better, the gas milage will be better. The truth is; your exhaust system will be better, MUCH MUCH BETTER !!!!!
