Spark plug gap for N/A ~400hp applications
Spark plug gap for N/A ~400hp applications whats the rule for spark plug gap again, like Stock gap - .004for every 50hp you have over stock?
I've got my tr55's gapped at .051 right now, but I'm going to be swapping em soon so I was wondering what everybody thats cammed and in the 400rwhp ballpark are gapping them at?

Verdad Gallardo ya i'm cresting the 15,000 mi mark right now and w/ doing the cam and everything and running pig rich for a while before it was tuned i figured it'd be best to get some new ones in there.
Another question, what would be the downside to having them gapped at .055 still even if the car is making 400hp?

It's not just hp... ...it's compression.
If you have decked heads, you'll wanna go down. If you have higher compression, you'll wanna shrink the gap.
Strokers bring another factor in: Piston speed. The piston is travelling faster and the spark event has to happen faster, too. This can be adjusted w/ HP Tuners.
