Default HELP!!! Hooker LT driver side

cant get this dam thing in, anyone got any suggestions, ive got all the plugs out, the steering linkage out and the car is up on 5 ton jack stands

its hitting on the bottom half of the motor mount, the K-member (yes i have a grinder but its old and weak thats a last resort move), and some pot-metal looking thing thats bolted to the block above the oil filter, its got an open end facing up and held on with two bolts

i was thinking of taking that off, will any oil come out of that?

Probably whatever oil is in the galley held in place by the filter. Couldn't be much. Are you sure you got the front high enough? I had to get mine about 6" higher than Rhino ramps to get my pacesetters in. I took nothing out except plugs. It was a little tight but I told my wife to give it a good shove and it went right up.

I added a little to the previous post. Sorry I have not installed Hookers, just pacesetters. Hopefully someone that has will chime in. Good luck.

Another alternitive, pull the long middle bolt out of the motor mount and lift the engine slightly. You have to pull the alternator to do this though...

that little piece above the oil filter is what you need to take off. A tiny little bit of oil with come out nothing to worry about. then the header will go up, no need to take out any motor mounts our up jack the engine up.
just wiggle it in, you have all the other things right.
