Default Stock MAF ends on a 85MM MAF?

Do I just take off my stock MAF ends and use them with the bigger MAF or do I need to buy 85MM MAF ends?

would kind of defeat the purpose of buying an 85mm sensor, and then try to hook up stock ends to it, don't you think?

My truck MAF is one piece...there are no ends to remove. They are molded in.
