Point being, both of those 3" systems flow very, very well. So, to answer your question, you're not going to gain any power by making the switch. In the end, it will come down to sound if you decide to make the switch. And personally, I don't like the Magnaflow sound (sounds really tinny w/ headers IMO). Now on the other hand, I absolutely LOVE the ferocious, yet very deep-toned sound of my LT headers + highflow cats + GMMG.
Without cats, no cat-back sounds good to me on the LS1 motor. Period.Mike
