Engine Motor Mount Bushings!!!
Hello Everyone,
I need information or instructions about installing the poly motor mounts! The search isn't working, so I couldn't dig anything up.
If anyone has any information, other then its a big pain in the A$$, or a link to great instructions, that'll be great!! Right now my vehicle has no heads or headers on it, so I can only imagine that it'll be pretty easy.
Thanks!
Adrian

I just did the mounts about a week ago. I don't have an F-body but I am using the mounts, so i know how to do the mounts just not what you need to remove in your car to get to them. Ok, unbolt and remove mounts from the car, drill out the rivets till the two peices of steel come apart, you might have to heat or scrape to get the rubber insolator seperated from the steel parts, after that it is too easy install poly mounts and bolt the two steel plates together with the nut and bolts supplied. TIP, do one and check it on the car to make sure you put the poly mount in the right way...
Hope this helps.

Wrong section. Check the "External" Engine forum and you might find more answers. There is a thread about this on the first page, so no search is involved. They are real easy to do with no heads and no headers. Prothane is the brand I used and come with good instructions. Worthwhile mod to do IMO.

Ok, its alright, I didn't realize I put this in the wrong thread, you are right!!
Anyways, I got them installed today, took the whole day sadly had to do some pain in the *** stuff with it. I did also have my heads and headers off, made things a million times easier. Anyhow, thanks!!!
