intake manifold to TB to MAF to Intake
intake manifold to TB to MAF to Intake Ok so i have a stock 2002 LS1 which from what i hear has the LS6 intake manifold on it. First question being since everyone says that the LS6 is a good manifold therefore i suppose as of right now i have no need to replace it correct? which leads me to my second question, i dont mean to sound like an idiot but if i keep my stock intake manifold is it possible to get a larger TB....and if i can get a larger TB will the stock MAF not work with the TB as well...and if i get a larger TB and MAF will my intake still fit.....????someone plz help me with this becuase i want to purchase some of the stuff but do not what to turn around in a month and have useless parts do to bad fit

The sponsors on the right most of them take the stock TB port and polish them thats what I'm talking about most people don't want to spend the money on the bbk 80 and it isn't going to do any better really!You can check some of them out and see the prices!Or ya can learn how to port ya own!I can do all of my own work so I don't have to worry about these kind of things much just only helping people out!

A ported stock TB is a proven 5-10hp mod, 1mph in the 1/4.
Most the sponsors port TB's. New Era (I think) is doing them for like $75 with a 2 day turn around. Some places also let you buy one outright with a core charge that's deducted when you send your stocker in.
You can waste your money on a BBK which is slightly larger, but no use because the intake's inlet is only 75mm.
