I put mine between the cupholder and gear shifter, I wanted to put it between my TCS and my top switch but that is where I put my line lock. The switch were too deep to fit in the ashtray.

I mounted mine just below the cigarette lighter. With my short shifter, I don't even have to take my hand off the shifter to open/close it. Plenty of room also!

If you do not smoke take the ash tray out and mount it where the ashtray goes or you could moount it in your ashtray if you wanted it is a good spot to hide it

would this work just like it is, http://texas-speed.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=21&catid=31
i heard you have to do something for it to work and be able to hook the cutout to it. it would fit in the cell phone holder and its kind of factory looking, anyone else have this switch panel with there cutout as one of them???
