Finally bought a catback!!!! After all of my research i came to a conclusion that I would have to get a Hooker Catback, so I did i bought it from texas speed and performance hopefully it will get here buy friday so i can install it, i hope i made the right choice if not i can alway return it back to stock and get a different one
The Hooker system sounds decent...not bad for a first choice...like anything else, you'll probably change it again down the road....I dont think you will be disappointed though.
keep in mind that it will not be too much louder than stock. very good flowing muffler though. now just wake that hooker up and through some Long tube headers and an ory! the Hooker muffler is something that you can keep down the raod and will continually sound good. smart move. hope you like it!
Cool. I'm upgrading to the same one from my 4+ yr. old Flowmaster AT. I'll be combining it with QTP LT's, and Mufflex ORY. I'm hoping it won't be too loud since I need to stay with in certain dB limits at tracks. (Roadrace). Having a bolt on flange at the muffler seems like a nice option!
My hooker sounded good before I put a cam in, and now it sounds really good. It's not TOO loud at idle, but you can definitely hear it cammin. At WOT, it screams. I think you will like it.
it is one of the best mods I made to my car. its a good starting point. if you plan on going longtubes and cam you will love it, if you are just getting a catback it won't be that loud. I love mine, and it was cost friendly.

i plan on going longtubes ory and heads and cam so i didn't want to get something that would be real loud down the road cause i dont want my car to just scream on daily driving later on down the road so i think it will be a good choice if not i will just take it off and get a new catback!
