Default Exhaust Questions???

I just recently purchased a 2001 Camaro Z28 and I installed a SLP lid on it already. Next I want to install a cat-back exhaust, but since I live in Califonria I am unable to run a LT setup with True Duals. So im stuck between TSP Rumbler, Magnaflow, and LM. All the shops around me dont carry and wont order for TSP and LM, so I think im stuck with Magnaflow. Anyone here near the Sacramento area know of any places that would order form SLP or TSP. Any help would be much appreciated.

You should just order it online and take it to an exhaust shop.

Hell yeah just order it online or pver the phone. I mean I'm on the other side of the Atlantic so I have to get all my bits like that.

And don't worry about duals, sure they are nice but a good catback will be a match for a dual system for the most part. Plus if you plan on aftermarket torque arms then dual system require a little more lateral thinking to get it all to fit.

Out of the systems you listed I'd personally go for a LM, but be warned it is loud. If you don't like the tone of it get a Maganoflow bullett muffler ($150) installed instead of the LM resonator.

The Rumbler is a good setup but it's not stainless steel and you have to opt to get tips with it, which I think then makes it a bit pricey for only mild steel. But it is a good system performance wise.

The Maganflow is very well made, but from the clips I've heard of it I've never ben taken by it's sound.

Yea the LM is what I really want, because I heard that it is the loudest catback exhaust on the market besides the rediculously expensive GMMG exhaust. I heard that Magnaflow is the best performing, but I also heard that it is one of the quietest exhaust systems around. I was originally gonna get Flowmaster, but I heard that the 80 series that every Muffler shop has is extremely restrictive, so I decided to change my mind. Cause all Im looking ofr is the loudest cat-back with the best flow for the cheapest price.

IMO the LM is hard to beat, not to everyones tastes but I think it's like 90% GMMG at half the price.

Ok I think that I will just order the SLP online and take it to the shop to see if they would install it. I wasnt trying to make anyone mad earlier when I stated that I might have ot be "stuck" with Magnaflow exhaust, its just not near as loud as I would want it to be. I found out that Speed Inc. has the cheapest price on LM with free shipping, so I think that I am going to order the exhaust through them. Has anyone else ever ordered through Speed Inc??

Well I take it that no one on here has ever ordered from Speed Inc. so I guess I'll give it a shot without any input.
