pulley or no pulley i have a 98 ss, i wanted to put a pulley on, but people tell me its bad, but is it really??? if not what kind do i get?, how much horse does it increase, how does it work, and last of all is it worth it
Re: pulley or no pulley The pulley issue is somewhat mysterious. Experts say that they don't dampen engine vibrations enough like the factory units. Longterm damage is possible.
People say they have had no problems. At least none that they know about.
I had a pulley and went back to stock. I'm planning on having my car for a long time and didn't want to risk it.

Re: pulley or no pulley Good mod. Be sure to check for KR with Autotap both before and after to ensure that the addition of the pulley didn't cause any false KR (faulty pulley or bad installation can cause this.)
