Throttle Body and MAF for $250?

Throttle Body and MAF for $250? I am going to have to disagree on this statement, ported MAF ends will in fact add more top end horsepower and so will the ported thottle body.
I personally would some ported MAF ends and a ported throttle body from Shaner, jantzer, or thunder racing. combined those two things will get you about 15 rwhp and much better throttle response for around $250. (Quote from Bad Habit Bird)

Re: Throttle Body and MAF for $250? From Thunder Racing you can get the ported MAF ends (not granatelli) for $100, and a TR ported TB for $150 (plus $200) core charge. That seems to be what you're asking for, minus the core charge. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> This is what I plan on doing in any case.

If you wanna pay more go for the granatelli and the BBK TB, but for 250 bones u can't beat the ported maf ends and the TR TB, I wouldn't make any quotes on what you would get HP-wise, but anytime you get more air you get more power right? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> And definitely better throttle response!!

Generic??? hehe, I think they do good work, in fact, most of my mods on my car have come from them. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> The BBK throttle body "may" add more power, and it is definitely "prettier", oh yeah, and it's also definitely $250 more <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Re: Throttle Body and MAF for $250? sounds crazy but it is really almost that simple. You unhook stuff from old TB, hook stuff back up to new TB ( way simplified ) It's a very simple bolt on upgrade. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
