I personally would go with the following:

Longtubes (brand doesn't really matter)
mandrel bent 3" y-pipe
flowmaster 3"-4" collector
4" I-pipe with a bullet muffler
mandrel bent Turndown in front of the rear axle

I dont see a true dual setup being any better than this unless you have a nitrous motor or a BIG motor.

I have a magnaflow exhaust, and just finished putting FLP headers with the offroad pipes. I think it sounds great. Not to loud at idle or cruise, but when you get on it, its sounds pretty darn good.

If you want NASCAR loud and be deaf within a matter of months I would recommend my set up. Hooker LT's, Hooker ORY, and Loudmouth.

Define "Best." Best SOUNDING, or best FLOWING??

Here is my new set up...

Mac MLs, ORP, stock SS catback w/cutout.

I will be ordering a McCord power plate soon. Very quiet during normal driving, if I want loud just open the electric cutout and unleash hell

Grotts > dual elec. cutouts > X pipe > cats > mufflers = true dual setup.

This is my future setup. VERY tame on the street until you unleash it.

I'm about to be running FLPs with GMMG exhaust but that's because I have emissions and need to put the cats on for it. If I didn't have emissions, I would do some grotyohahn 1 7/8" headers, dual cutouts right after, and then an H-pipe if you want a louder deeper sound that's loud and gives a little bit more horsepower; or an X-pipe that gives more power than a H-pipe but is quieter for some reason. Stupid emissions
