Why is yours louder again? Higher compression? Isn't your SCR near 12:1?
What do you plan to change? Muffler swap?
which one makes MORE power? thats the important question. we all know we cant get away with open headers, but how close can we get before we get the sound ***** mad. personally, i'd like to hear a stock LS1 with long tubes, ORY, and loudmouth at WOT in a tunnel or under a bridge. i run kooks 1 7/8 inch long tubes, ory and borla with no plate, and it gets loud in tunnels and bridges. i get compliments about once a week on it and i get the stares from LVOs(Lame Vehicle Operator) when i get on it. my morning commute is against rush hour traffic as well, so i get to get on it while all the traffic is on the other side of the freeway, haha. and its the same going home, too. nothing like a sweet sounding exhaust with rush hour traffic on the OTHER side of the freeway after a hard days work.
