I'm running the FAST 90mm intake with the Nick Williams 90mm TB, and that is what I would recommend for your application. Stay away from the FAST 90mm TBs though. Too many people have had problems with the FAST 90mm TBs sticking.

Stock tb size is 75mm...Don't waste money on a 78mm. If you are keeping the LS6 intake, take an afternoon and port your stocker and be done with it.

If you are going bigger, which I'd suggest since you are a (near?) full bolt on car with a cam and heads...get a Nick Williams 90mm TB with a Fast 90 Intake.

Jesus! That is better than most 224's I have seen with heads. What are the specs on your heads?

Go with the 90mm because you'll just end up buying it twice when you want to upgrade again! And we all want to upgrade again. I have the Fast 90mm TB and I am not happy. The first one I bought had to be returned and the one I have now needs a return spring just to get it to shut. Buy the 90mm intake but buy a different 90mm TB.

Yes, or any other 90mm other than FAST really. FAST TB's stick open, the company knows it but they won't fix it. They tell you to put on some spring to close it! Nick Williams TB is a great piece and there are many others out there but NW is the one that pops into mind.
