Default Need some help with modding my LS1

I have a 2000 SS. I have LT's, Lid, 3" Catback. I am planning on doing a LS6 intake next with some new plugs and wires. My question is should I get some larger injectors and if so what size should I get? I plan on doing a CAM and tune next after the intake install.

TIA

you shouldnt need injectors.....also if you are planning on going forced induction you wont really need the LS6 intake, if you are staying NA it would be nice though.

I wouldn't shell out for another one lol.

Start planning a heads cam setup for more power now you probblly will need injectors with that but plan first.

well if it wasnt for the fact that i already have a ls6 intake i would have already bought the 90/90 setup but right now i cant justify that money being that the gain wont be that much over what i am running right now....maybe later or if i hit the lotto but from a stocker to a 90/90 setup i wouldnt even consider the 78mm

fwiw

The beauty of upgrading to an LS6 intake manifold, is you can always turn around and sell it for what you paid for it, assuming you got it used.

I'd say go for it on the LS6 intake. I did an intake and a ported TB at the same time, and was rewarded with a nice SOTP gain from 4000+

BTW - you can PM LS1_SS, he is buying up old LS1 intake's and TB's like crazy. Sold him my stock manifold/tb and he paypal'd me enough dough to buy a shiftlight, calendar, and some other ****. Nobody really knows what the hell he's doing with all of them, but he's definatly horny for them.

Edit - You do not even need to think about new injectors unless you're running at least a nice H/C package or a big dry shot. 99% of people making 400rwhp w/ a cam and boltons are using stock injectors.
