Stainless W Exhaust Clips?
Stainless W Exhaust Clips? Since Scott from Stainless Works has got the smokin deal on exhaust going right now I am wanting to buy one but I would really like to hear from someone on here about how they sound. Does anyone got a sound clip or does anyone even have the "Turbo System" on their car? The ls1sounds doesnt have a clip of them but they look alot like the Corsa as far as muffler size goes. Can anyone enlighten me here? Thanks Gents!!
I have it. Sounds awesome, but I don't have a clip of it. I used to have a Random Tech exhuast, this sounds much better and they designed it based on their C5 exhaust. With your cam you'll love the sound, no rasp either. I have their 3-1/2" version. I had a straight thru muffler from them ( custom ) and although it sounded bad *** ( even at 1500 rpm ) I prefer this muffler by a long shot.
The only clips I've found on SW exhausts are the ones on their website. But... FedEx just dropped off the SW chambered exhaust I ordered last week. I hope to have it installed in the next week or so. I'm gonna see if I can find someone with a decent digital camcorder and get them to record a clip or two and get them put up on LS1sounds.

you can try the vid for the dyno runs here, this is being tuned after cam. SW headers (2 1/2" collectors, 2 1/2" y with random tech cats, and the SW 3 1/2" chamberred system

My 3.5" SW catback arrived today. I won't have time to install it for a while but I'll let you know what I think when it's on the car.
Hey Viper, did your SW system fit ok? Any clearance issues? And their turbo muffler, is it wicked loud, or somewhat reasonable? If it's too loud for my taste I might switch to a Hooker aerochamber with a single in/out.

Reasonable loud, not wicked loud. After 3 years of wicked loud I wanted something more refined and this fit the bill. Fitment was good, I had the y-pipe welded everywhere. 3 clamps; 2 at the header ( NAPA torq clamps ) and one where the y meets the i-pipe.

I test fitted the 3.5" SW I-pipe to my Kooks y-pipe. The I-pipe slid over the Kooks Y. If there's enough length it should mate up nicely.
These 3.5" are large pipes! I'm going to polish up the visible pieces and install that sucker soon. I'm stoked!
