I have an ice maker under the hood (ac)
of the green with my $15 dollar orielly's gauge
and now it works much better
here is the pic

In houton this time of year according to this
chart -> http://ls1info.com/article.php?sid=233
85-95F and above %30 humidity you shoud have
42-46psi
I still have problems with the AC not blowing to
good because of some huge ice buildup inside the
blower box. This happens on long roadtrips.
Fix turn it off for 5 min and its fine yet again.

i would have to bet you have a low charge.

That isn't the case. I had it charged about 2 months ago by a very good friend's brother. He does this stuff for a living. I was right there when he did it as well. The car is only a little over a year old and I remember it not blowing very hard before for no reason, but had never looked untillt today.

control ought to keep the evap just above
freezing, but I've had other cars that got
iced up. When you get the evap core iced up,
you lose most thermal transfer (no air through
the fins, just around the ice block).
So then you have cold expanded refrigerant
heading back out to the compressor.
The old shade tree way of figuring a full
charge was to keep adding juice until the
return line began to "sweat". Then you know
you have more charge running than the evap
can boil off.
