Did you change the fan settings with HPP3?

The engine and radiator are about the same height, but the hose that feeds the block is higher and just trickles the water into block from the radiator.
Therefore, after starting the engine, the hot water is in the block, but not against the thermostat because the block didn't fill. So the TS doesn't open, allowing water to run through and air to purge.
Take the upper hose off and fill the block up then fill the radiator. The heated water will now be against the thermostat, which will open and allow the air to be purged.
I take the upper cross-tube (?) off of the radiator and fill it till I spill it. I then reconnect it and fully fill the radiator.
Next, I start the car, and let it idle for 4 minutes (about how long it takes for the TS to open and begin drawing water). After which, I shut it down, top off the radiator, fill up the cooling water resivoir and I'm done.
